Bob brings 15 years of digital media experience to his role as Gigwalk’s CEO. Prior to Gigwalk, Bob served as TRUSTe’s Vice President of advertising products, where he was responsible for launching the company’s vast online ad offering. Prior to TRUSTe, Bob built the largest video ad network on the Internet as VP of Business Development at YuMe. As a senior member of the Yahoo! Search team, he managed the search toolbar business and oversaw search distribution and partnerships. Bob is also an active investor, founder and advisor and currently serves on the board of advisors for StumbleUpon. He holds a BS from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and attended Northwestern’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
Matt is the co-founder and CTO of Gigwalk. He originally founded Gigwalk to create a marketplace to help businesses mobilize people to get work done. Since launching in May 2011, Gigwalk has grown into a local visibility software platform that facilitates brand and retailer collaboration with the world's largest on-demand mobile workforce, also known as Gigwalkers. Prior to Gigwalk, Matt lead software development teams at Yahoo! Buzz, and HotJobs (starting in 2005), and lead front end development for AOL Shopping and Alerts (starting in 2000).
VP of Sales &
David is Gigwalk’s VP of Sales and Customer Success. Previously, he held various executive positions with E2open from launch in 2000 through a 2012 IPO. There he managed cloud solution delivery for numerous Global 1000 companies. Prior to E2open, David led operations for SCM Microsystems (Identiv), a provider of secure access to digital content. David also spent five years at Solectron (Flextronics), helping the company grow from $250 million to $2 billion. David began his career as a consultant at Bain and Company and holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and MA and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
VP of Marketing
Molly is Gigwalk’s VP of Marketing, bringing over 20 years of marketing experience to the team, as well as an expertise in working with high growth, early stage companies. Previously, Molly was the VP of Marketing for Compass Labs, a social ads and insights platform. Prior to Compass Labs, Molly led marketing for YuMe, joining the company as employee number ten and overseeing the company’s launch, driving all marketing efforts to successfully position YuMe as the leading digital video advertising solution. Molly started her career in advertising and received her BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her MBA from Columbia University.
Director of Engineering
Greg leads the engineering team at Gigwalk and works with all levels of technology (front end, back end, iOS, Android, QA). Prior to joining Gigwalk, Greg worked at Trulia (starting in 2009) and was with the company through their successful IPO in 2013. During that time Greg managed multiple teams including Search and Mortgage. He also was the main architect and programmer for the original Android applications. Before Trulia Greg spent 3 years as founder and head programmer for FFWD (FastForward), a video recommendation service. Greg began his career at CNET and GameSpot.
Director of Product
Merci heads up the product team at Gigwalk, where she focuses on delivering incredible cross-platform experiences to our community of Gigwalkers and our corporate partners. Merci came to Gigwalk after leading the Engagement team at the social travel company, Couchsurfing. While at Couchsurfing, she quadrupled use of their events feature and doubled conversion from free to paid accounts. Before joining Couchsurfing, Merci was a game designer and producer at Electronic Arts, where she designed The Sims Social. Just after graduating from college, Merci founded and raised two rounds of venture financing to run a game studio called GameLayers, Inc. Merci has a BA in English from the University of Southern California.
Director of Operations
James is the Director of Operations for Gigwalk, bringing 15 years of Operations, Financial, and Account Management experience to the team. Previously, he was the Director of Business Operations at Saba, managing both support and renewal operations teams. Prior to Saba, James built a successful account management team from the ground up at StrongView Systems that led to $20MM+ in recurring revenue. James started his career in Engineering and received his BS and MS in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
